PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device with a satisfactory straight advancing property without causing a difference in a steering force at the time of right turning and at the time of left turning even if a pneumatic pressure of one tire is reduced and a right/left balance is destroyed. SOLUTION: The power steering device is provided with a car speed detection means 36, a steering angle detection means 35 for detecting a steering angle, a steering torque detection means 34 for detecting a steering torque, a right wheel speed detection means 37 for detecting speed of a right side wheel, a left wheel speed detection means 38 for detecting speed of a left side wheel, a motor driving current operation means 42 for operating a driving current of an electric motor 26, and a correction torque operation means 40 for calculating a correction torque required for maintaining a straight advancement traveling state of a vehicle to add the steering torque value to it and imparting it to the motor driving current operation means 42. The correction torque operation means 40 calculates the correction torque from a difference of speed of both right and left wheels caused by a reduction of a pneumatic pressure of either one tire of both right and left wheels, the steering angle and the car speed. |
