摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass substrate with metal electrodes, in which the reliability of a plasma display panel is not deteriorated even though linear silver electrodes are covered with a dielectric layer comprising B2 O3 -containing glass with low-melting. SOLUTION: At least two metal electrodes 2 are formed on the glass substrate 1 containing an alkali metal oxide of 1 mol% or more, inorganic substance powder layers 3a, 3b containing >=50 mass % low-melting glass powder are laminated thereon so as to cover a part of the each electrode 2 and fired, wherein the B2 O3 content of the low-melting glass powder contained within the uppermost inorganic substance powder layer 3b is lower than 40 mol%, and the thickness of the inorganic substance powder layer 3b is determined such that the thickness of a sintered compact obtained by firing the inorganic substance powder layer 3b becomes 3μm or more.
