PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regulator circuit capable of preventing an output voltage from being oscillated in the case an overcurrent limiting function operates. SOLUTION: In a normal state, voltage at both ends of a resistance 31 is smaller than the voltage of a voltage source VR2, an output of a hysteresis comparator 51 is at a low level, an n type MOS transistor 63 is turned off, and a capacitor 62 is charged up to a power supply line Vcc. Meanwhile, in an overcurrent state, the output of the hysteresis comparator 51 is at a high level, the n type MOS transistor 63 is turned on, and the electric charge of the capacitor 62 is discharged. Since a differential amplifier circuit 41 selects a low voltage signal between two plus side input signals, an output voltage is subjected to negative feedback control with a voltage source VR1 as reference in the normal state and with a voltage source 64 as reference in the overcurrent state. Since the voltage of a positive input terminal +2 goes up at a constant speed when the overcurrent state changes into the normal state, abrupt change of an output voltage is suppressed.
