PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a learning support system, its procedure and its program which supply the contents of learning customized by a trainee. SOLUTION: A user terminal specifies an optional character string in response to the contents of learning supplied from a learning support server 2 through a telecommunication line network 100. The information on this character string is transmitted from the user terminal 1 to the learning support server 2 and housed in a database 26 on the learning history. Next time when the trainee desires the same contents of learning as before, the learning support server 2 reads out the information housed in the database 26 on the learning history and transmits to the user terminal 1 the contents of learning and the information on the above character string. A marking is applied to the character string for display by the user terminal 1, the marking of which is based on the color geared to the appearance frequency of the character string in consideration of the contents of learning transmitted from the learning support server 2 to the user terminal 1. Accordingly the contents of learning characteristic of the trainee are provided through processing in compliance with the appearance frequency of the character string specified by the trainee.
