PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of yielding a good-quality fixed image by preventing peeling offset and electrostatic offset from occurring and accelerating the movement of heat in the shaft direction of a heating member or the like. SOLUTION: In this fixing device where the heating member and a pressure member are made to press-contact with each other and a recording medium on which an unfixed toner image is carried is made to pass through a nip part formed between the heating member and the pressure member so that the toner image is fixed, at least either the heating member or the pressure member consists of an endless belt member, which is constituted so that its surface coming into contact with the recording medium, at least, has conductivity.
