PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation pile driven into the ground while being rotated for supporting the foundation of a structure constructed, which is capable of supporting a large load even though the length is short. SOLUTION: This foundation pile has a tapered portion 1 which is made slender toward the tip portion, a steel bar 6 is wound and welded around the outer peripheral surface 5 of the tapered portion 1, and the foundation pile driven to the ground applies a large frictional force to the earth layer since the tapered portion and steel bar 6 bite into the earth layer.
