PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil stabilization method capable of improving soft ground to extremely strong ground which never disturbs a construction work even though a large-scale construction work is carried out on the improved ground. SOLUTION: Ground is excavated by a screw auger and a vertical hole is formed. Then, a cement-based hardener is mixed to the existing soil and dry improved soil is created, thereafter, the dry improved soil and cement mild are mixed together in the vertical hole by the screw auger and slurry-shaped wet improved soil 8 is created. In addition, a steel pipe pile 10 is driven into the wet improved soil 8 and the wet improved soil 8 to which the steel pipe pile 10 is driven is cured and solidified thereby forming a columnar reinforcing body 9 in the ground.
