PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated storage and retrieval warehouse capable of suppressing enlargement and weight increase of a crane and facilitating approach of a crane into a running route. SOLUTION: A guide rail 26 for guiding horizontal movement of the crane 21 is disposed at a predetermined height of a shelf 22. The midway of the mast of the crane is provided with a slider 26 for supporting the mast by movably being engaged with the guide rail and for regulating the moving direction, and a running device 27 is mounted on the slider and runs the mast along the running route. The slider is provided with a plurality of guide rollers 30 rollably butted on the upper surface or the lower surface of the guide rail with a distance in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail, and the running device is connected to one guide roller.
