The amusement gaming machine of the fruit or poker type is playable after the insertion of money and has a case-type housing (1) standing on the floor, comprising a front wall with upper and lower glass panels (3,2), a number of operating buttons (4,5,6a,6b), a coin slot (7) and a payout aperture (8). Inside the housing are three axially aligned rollers (9) regularly spaced around their peripheries. The rollers are axially drivable connected to step motors and are installed behind a window (11) defined by a printed area of the lower glass panel. Each roller can assume each of the twenty four stop positions, in which a symbol is accurately covered by a horizontal winning line (11a) in the middle of the window and two further symbols are visible above and below the winning line. The step motors are connected to a control unit based on a micro-processor. This unit is also connected to a coin mechanism, a payout mechanism and the buttons. |
