REMOTE ONLINE AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM OF SMART CARD ON OPEN NETWORK AND AUTHENTICATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A remote online authentication system of a smart card on an open network and an authentication method thereof are provided, which authenticates the justice of the smart card without the intervention of a terminal or a smart card processing program. CONSTITUTION: An algorithm enabling authentication and data encryption is installed and stored in a user smart card(100). A smart card reader(200) recognizes the smart card and performs a communication intermediation with a terminal(300). The terminal comprises a smart card processing program(310) processing a communication connection and data transmission and receiving between the smart card and a remote server(500), and has a key input part of a user. And the remote server includes an authentication/security program(510) performing the authentication and data encryption of the smart card.
