PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE USING VOICE MENU AND EARPHONE

PURPOSE: A portable terminal device using a voice menu and an earphone is provided to retrieve a previously inputted telephone number and perform a telephone call by exchanging information with a cellular phone using the earphone and an ARS(Automatic Response System). CONSTITUTION: An earphone connects to the portable terminal device, and has a controller so that it is possible for a user to communicate with an object. A voice recognition synthesizing unit(9) transmits a previously stored voice menu to the user according to the signal of the controller, and performs a new voice menu or a corresponding command according to a received response signal of the user. The controller of the earphone has a control key with a multi-function.
