SOLUTION: This automatic player is provided with a read means to read the performance data and identification data from an outside storage medium that stores the performance data consisting of a plurality of tracks and the identification data to identify the performance data, a setting means to set setting information that specifies the reproduction state for each track to the performance data read by the read means, a storage means to store the setting information set by the setting means in correspondence with the identification data of the performance data whose reproduction state is specified by the setting information, a reproduction means to reproduce the performance data read by the read means, and a control means that controls the reproduction means to carry out reproduction on the basis of the setting information corresponding to the identification data to identify the performance data stored in the storage means when the reproduction means reproduces the performance data.
