RESIN COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which can definitely prevent display failure in a liquid crystal display device and to provide a resin composition which enables manufacturing the above color filter with a wide selection range for the structural materials to be used without increasing the cost. SOLUTION: The resin composition for a color filter contains a film forming resin composition (V) and a solvent and further contains a pigment (P) by 0 to 0.3 weight ratio (P/V) to the film forming resin component (V). The resin composition has such property that when the molded resin member is treated by forced extraction of impurities in a contact state with a liquid crystal, the holding rate of a voltage applied on the liquid crystal through the resin member is >=80%.
