PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner of excellent durability in which an element can be securely fixed inside a resin case by the small number of man-hours. SOLUTION: This air cleaner is provided with (1) a resin case 2 having an opening part 21 for guiding air outside, and a flange part 22, and provided with a cutout part 23 in the flange part 22, and a protruded part 223 formed on a tip surface 221 of it, (2) an element, and (3) an element fixing member 3 having a disc part 31, a cylindrical part 32, and a support part 33, and provided with a fixing piece 321 on a lower end surface of the cylindrical part 32 outward, and a fixing pawl 322 formed on a circumferential surface of the cylindrical part 32 outward. In the air cleaner, a circumferential edge part 211 of the opening part 21 and the flange part 22 in the resin case 2 are held by the disc part 31 and the fixing piece 321 of the element fixing member 3, thereby the element fixing member 3 is strongly fixed to the resin case 2.
