PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition excellent in balance of cohesiveness against repulsion-resisting performance and capable of exhibiting good adhesion and retention of the adhesion to an olefinic resin material, and to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains 10-50 pts.wt. of a petroleum-based resin and 0.005-5 pts.wt. of an epoxy-based crosslinker having a trifunctional group based on 100 pts.wt. of an acrylic copolymer obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable composition containing a 2-18C alkyl (meth)acrylate, a copolymerizable monomer having a polar group, and an olefinic polymer having a polymerizable double bond at the end as main components, wherein the acrylic copolymer has a rate of copolymerization of the olefinic polymer having the polymerizable double bond at the end of 5-20 wt.%. The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is given by using the composition.
