Method of preparing a silver halide photographic emulsion

The present invention relates to a method for the preparation of silver haloiodide photographic emulsions, in particular of tabular grains. The method of the invention consists in adding pulsed jets of iodide and silver salts to a host emulsion. This method affords a more robust and more reliable way to prepare photographic emulsions, while conserving the grain size distribution and sensitometric characteristics of the emulsion. <IMAGE>
