PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prescribed braking characteristic irrespective of a manufacturing tolerance. SOLUTION: In a wet type multiple disk brake device provided alternately with inner disks 12 and outer disks 13, a brake disk 14 press-moved by a hydraulic cylinder 20 is provided on the side of the disks 12, 13. A plate-like spring 5 is connected to the brake disk 14, and one end of the spring 15 is fixed to a push plate 16. The push plate 16 is movable by screwing a bolt 17 in, and an initial contraction amount of the spring 15 is changed to thereby obtain the prescribed braking characteristic.
