摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing hydrocarbons from a synthetic gas, by which the liquid hydrocarbons can efficiently, stably and smoothly be produced in high chain growth probability in excellent olefin selectivity in high catalytic activity and in high C5 <+> productivity. SOLUTION: This method for producing the hydrocarbons comprises preliminarily treating a catalyst which carries a sodium compound in an amount of 0.1 to 10 wt.% based on the catalyst and further ruthenium in an amount of 1 to 30 wt.% based on the catalyst on a carrier comprising an aluminum oxide and a manganese oxide having an average manganese charge number exceeding Mn<2+> and further exhibiting a specific surface area of 60 to 350 m<2> /g and a bulk density of 0.8 to 1.8 g/ml, dispersing the catalyst in liquid hydrocarbons in a concentration of 1 to 50 wt.%, and then bringing the catalyst into contact with a mixture gas consisting mainly of hydrogen and carbon monoxide at a pressure of 1 to 10 MPa and at a reaction temperature of 170 to 300 deg.C.
