PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer carrying member which makes good images obtainable and is capable of maintaining the good images for a long period of time and an image forming device using this image carrying member. SOLUTION: This developer carrying member has a semiconductor resin layer, deposits a developer on its surface, forms its thin film and forms the visible images by coming into contact or proximity with or to an image forming body and supplying the developer to the surface of this image forming body. This semiconductor resin layer contains a high-molecular-weight polyester resin of a weight average molecular weight 10,000 to 50,000 and a melamine resin of a weight average molecular weight <=2,000. This image forming device is mounted with this developer carrying member. |
