PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device having stable electrification property, high picture quality and a long life. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic device having a means to be in contact with the surface of an electrophotographic photoreceptor to electrify the surface of the photoreceptor, the electrifying means consists of electrifying particles essentially comprising conductive particles and a carrying body of electrifying particles to carry the electrifying particles, with the carrying body having the surface with conductivity and elasticity. The photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer and a protective layer on a conductive supporting body. The coefficient of friction on the surface of the protective layer is specified to <=1.2 with respect to the surface of a polyethylene terephthalate sheet. |
