PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a soldering iron which has gripping sections meeting individual users and minimizes the hygienic problem by gripping of the same soldering iron by many users. SOLUTION: The soldering cartridge 10 has a sleeve 12 and the gripping section 16. The sleeve 12 has a base end and a front end and the base end is connected to a connector 18. The front end is connected to a tip 28. The gripping section 16 extends in an axial direction and has a hole sized to fit into a portion of the sleeve 12. An insulating section 14 is arranged between the sleeve 12 and the gripping section 16.
