PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost actuator directly operable while holding sealing performance. SOLUTION: This actuator for driving a valve for performing fluid control comprises a first magnetic detecting mans 25 installed inside a housing 23 and turned on and off by the approach and separation of a magnetic body 24; a second magnetic detecting means 26 also installed inside the housing 23 and turned on and off by the approach and separation of the magnetic body 24; a counting means 28 for counting and outputting the on frequency of the second magnetic detecting means 26 during the on-period of the first magnetic detecting means 25; and a CPU 23 for carrying out specified processing, corresponding to the frequency outputted from the counting means 28.
