PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ceramics porous body in which an intergranular bonding phase such as a glass phase is diminished or eliminated and a desired pore shape is formed. SOLUTION: In the method for producing a ceramics porous body by sintering a molding formed by mixing and molding ceramic raw materials and a pore forming agent, the pore forming agent is vaporized after the ceramic raw materials in the molding are sintered.
