PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle carrier capable of securing a high safety by automatically arranging a lower end of a supporting leg at a high storage position from the ground, and also capable of smoothly placing vehicles on a loading platform. SOLUTION: The loading platform 2 is slid backward and inclined to touch the ground with its back end so that loading and unloading the loading platform 2 with vehicles is carried out through a gang-plank 5. The supporting leg 33 is suspended in the middle of an inclinably moving frame 3, turnably supported between the storage position where the leg is turned and arranged aslant forward and the action position where the leg is turned and arranged aslant backward, and energized at the action position by an energizing means. A storing member 25 abuts on the supporting leg 25 from the backward by backward sliding action of the loading platform main body 2, and sets up the supporting leg 33 to the storage position from the action position, resisting the energizing force of the energizing means.
