PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a compressor and rubber parts from being heat-damaged while preventing power consumption of a compressor from rising excessively, in a CO2 cycle. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner for vehicle, the refrigerant flow rate from the compressor 100 is prevented from exceeding a predetermined flow rate Wt by variable-controlling the delivery capacity of the compressor 100 so as to set an air temperature immediately after passing through an evaporator 9 to about 0 deg.C. Since this prevents the refrigerant pressure and the refrigerant temperature on the high pressure side from rising excessively, the compressor 100 and the rubber parts are prevented from being heat-damaged while preventing the power consumption of the compressor 100 from rising excessively.
