WHITE LAMINATED POLYESTER FILM AND RECEIVING SHEET FOR THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white laminated polyester film excellent in image distinctness even in a high-resolution machine for thermal transfer recording and also excellent in crease resistance. SOLUTION: The white laminated polyester film is constituted by laminating a white polyester layer (A) containing inorganic particles on the opposite surfaces of a white polyester layer (B) containing minute foams. When the elastic moduli in tension in longitudinal and width directions of the film are denoted respectively by E1 and E2 (N/mm<2> ) and the specific gravity thereof by ρ, they satisfy formulas: 0.9<=E2/E1<=1.6 (1) and 4000<=(E1+E2)/ρ<=8000 (2).
