PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a reflective liquid crystal display device without any problem of scattering of light for position detection in detecting a positioning marker with a device for sticking used in manufacture of the reflective liquid crystal display device and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A liquid repelling layer 23 is formed on the positioning marker 22 and in the vicinity thereof. A light scattering film 11 is formed on a part where the liquid repelling layer is not formed. The positioning marker 22 and coloring pixels 13 are formed on a glass substrate 12. The liquid repelling layer 23 is formed on the positioning marker 22 and in the vicinity thereof. The light scattering film 11 is formed on a part where the liquid repelling layer is not formed using the liquid repelling function of the liquid repelling layer.
