PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation sensitive composition for a color filter which is excellent in developing property, adhesion property of a color layer with a substrate, surface smoothness or the like without causing display failure such as seizure, display irregularity or pixel defects and which is used to form a color layer on the substrate for driving a thin film transistor(TFT) color liquid crystal display device, to provide pixels for a color filter obtained from the composition and to provide a liquid crystal display element having the pixels for a color filter. SOLUTION: The radiation sensitive composition contains (A) a coloring agent, (B) an alkali-soluble resin, (C) polyfunctional monomers and (D) a photopolymerization initiator. The total amount (mmol) of polymerizable unsaturated couplings in the (C) polyfunctional monomers is 2 to 4 mmol/g with respect to the total amount (g) of the components (A) to (D). The pixels for a color filter are produced from the above composition, and the color liquid crystal display device is equipped with the above pixels. |
