PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a part for an electrophotographic apparatus such as roll and belt with flame retardance and prevent the contamination of a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: A part for an electrophotographic apparatus is coated with a coating agent composed mainly of a polyurethane produced by the polyaddition reaction of a phosphorus-containing polyol having >=2 hydroxy groups with a diisocyanate and having a phosphorus content of >=0.5 wt.% and <=10.0 wt.% based on the total weight of the solid component of the coating agent.
