PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple gas heat pump type air conditioner capable of obtaining an excellent heating capability by vaporizing a refrigerant without frosting even in a heating operation at low fresh air temperature. SOLUTION: A multiple gas heat pump type air conditioner 1 comprises a plurality of indoor machine units 10, an outdoor machine unit 30 including a compressor 31 and an outdoor heat exchanger 32, and a shunt control unit 20 for selecting and changing over cooling/heating operations by controlling the direction of a flow of a refrigerant for each indoor machine unit 10. In the air conditioner 1, a water heat exchanger 33 is disposed on the outdoor machine unit 30 in parallel to the outdoor heat exchanger 32 for heating a refrigerant by obtaining waste heat from engine cooling water for gas engine cooling, and in a heating operation upon low fresh air temperature satisfying frosting conditions, the refrigerant can be vaporized with the water heat exchanger 33. |
