PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the frequency of the stop of drive of a load as much as possible when a signal indicating an abnormality in a control signal is temporarily outputted because of the circumferential situation of a control means, etc., even though the control means is not in the abnormal condition. SOLUTION: The solenoid drive unit comprises a CPU 1 for controlling the motions of linear solenoids S1, S2 and S3 based on various signals, an output circuit 2 for driving the solenoids based on control signals from the CPU 1, a watch dog circuit 3 for monitoring the motion of the CPU 1, and a counter circuit 4 for feeding or shutting off the electric power to the output circuit 2 based on the monitoring signals from the watch dog circuit 3. The counter circuit 4 prohibits the control means from controlling the motions of the solenoids by shutting off the electric power to the output circuit when the reset signal indicating the abnormality of the CPU 1 outputted from the watch dog circuit 3 is at least a prescribed value of frequency. |
