PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing method for a building, which dispenses with the removal of a wall board, a ceiling board, etc., in a room, enables reinforcing work under a state wherein the building is inhabited, and allows the execution of work at a relatively low cost. SOLUTION: An L-shaped reinforcing frame 10, which is composed of a vertical frame material 11 and a horizontal frame material 12 provided protrusively at a lower end of the material 11, is arranged on an outer periphery of the building; the material 12 of the reinforcing frame 10 is buried in concrete 13 underground; and the material 11 is fixed to a skeleton 1 of the building by a bolt 15.
