PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite member for construction excellent in high rigidity and high durability capable of securely preventing the occurrence of oscillation, unusual noise and the like against high axial force and bending moment. SOLUTION: A middle bolt 4 is inserted into a bolt hole 3 opened on connecting end face parts 1a, 2a between thin plate steel members 1, 2 superposed with each other. When connecting the thin plate steel members 1, 2 to each other by tightening by screwing a nut 6 into the middle bolt 4 via a washer 5, the washer 5 has a diameter d more than at least 3 times larger than a bolt shaft diameter D of the middle bolt 4.
