PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing spun yarns capable of producing spun yarns having good hand feeling with solving a problem that oil is usually added during cotton mixing to bring spinnability better, but the added oil negatively acts to bulkiness, antifouling properties and the like of the spun yarns by keeping a good spinning condition as that of the usual one while considering the environment. SOLUTION: This method for producing spun yarns is to spin a synthetic fiber containing completely or almost no fat and oil on the surface of the fiber. Hot spring water is added in stead of fat and oil during spinning and/or before spinning. Hot spring water suppresses static electricity and the spinning condition is brought to be good. Finished spun yarns express inherited hand feeling as oil is not added during the spinning. |
