PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional flat ridge structure, i.e., a problem of steep rise in material cost and of bothersome handling including transportation thereof, due to heavy weight of a ventilating ridge member which is produced by blanking or stamping the thick flat materials, and then press-working the same, the conventional flat ridge structure being constructed by mounting the ventilating ridge member having an integral sectional shape exhibiting an angular corrugation, on an upper portion of a ridge ventilating opening for a roof, and covering an upper portion of the ridge member with the ridge covering material. SOLUTION: According to the flat ridge structure, a first partition member 1 and a second partition member 2 are connected together by a plurality of connecting members 3 which are arranged in a longitudinal direction of the flat ridge, in a manner extending along roof inclination. Then, the ridge covering material 6 covers the structure. The first and second partition members 1, 2 are thin in thickness and need not such high strength. Therefore, the material costs are reduced, and handling and construction of the flat ridge are facilitated.
