PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more quickly and easily carry out a transmission command operation. SOLUTION: This transmission command operation mechanism 100 is provided with a shift command lever 10, in which left and right end parts are arranged below a steering wheel rocking by in the vertical direction, and a forward/ backward movement gear command lever 30 arranged in the left end part of the shift command lever 10 rocking by in the vehicle advancing/retracting direction. When the forward/backward movement gear command lever 30 is rocked from a neutral position in the advancing direction, a forward movement gear command switch SW3 is operated. When the forward/backward movement gear command lever 30 is rocked from the neutral position to the backward moving direction, a backward movement gear command switch SW4 is operated. When the right end part of the shift command lever 10 is rocked upward, a shift-up switch SW1 is operated, while the left end part is rocked upward, a shift-down switch SW2 is operated.
