PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig and method for fixing a workpiece by which the cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: The jig 1 for fixing a workpiece 2 made of a non-magnetic material to a working bench 3 comprises a positioning block 4 for positioning the workpiece 2 so as to have a required gap with respect to the working bench 3, a jig body 5 which is positioned between the workpiece 2 positioned by the positioning block 4 and the working bench 3, and is attracted by magnetic force, and adsorptive cups 6 which are provided on the jig body 5 and sticks to the workpiece 2 by adsorption.
