PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection ump having reduced wear at a contact portion and a long service life. SOLUTION: Washer members 50 are installed between a cam 42 rotated with a driving shaft 41 and a shoe 43 and between a housing body 11 and cam cover 30. The washer members 50 are housed in a housing portion 11 of the housing body 10 and in a housing portion 33 of the cam cover 30. Thus, direct contact between the cam 40 and the shoe 43 and the housing body 11 and the cam cover 30 is prevented, resulting in reduced wear. Furthermore, the washer members 50 are fixed to the housing body 11 and to the cam cover 30. Relative movement between the washer member 50 and the housing body 11 in conjunction with slide between each of the cam 42 and the shoe 43 and each of the washer members 50 is therefore prevented. Consequently, wear between the washer members 50 and the housing body 11 and the cam cover 30 is reduced.
