PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage system that can transport rainwater by pressure without restrictions including a laying inclination in a drainage channel and also treat a large amount of rainwater at a low cost without relying upon a pump. SOLUTION: To a storage tank 2 wherein rain water is introduced a pressurized air from a pressurized air storage tank 3 is supplied to compress the water in the storage tank to send it out. Then a backflow prevention cover 5 is provided to prevent water from making a backflow up to the upstream side of the storage tank, thereby repeating an introduction process to guide water into the storage tank and an exhaust process to send rain water out of the storage tank by pressurized air, thus making it possible that water is intermittently exhausted out, and sent out by pressure without relying on a costly pump. In particular, since the system is comprised that once pressurized air is stored in the tank by an air compressor, only a small capacity compressor is allowed to perform the purpose.
