<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball that is durable and very repulsive. SOLUTION: The golf ball has a core and a cover. The core is made of a rubber composition in which an organic sulphur compound is mixed into polybutadiene rubber. The deformation under a load of 980 N is 4.0 to 5.5 mm. The principal material of the cover is a Li and a Mg ion neutralized ionomer in which an inorganic filler of 3.50 or higher specific gravity is compounded. The specific gravity of the cover material is 1.020 to 1.110 and Shore D hardness is 55 to 65.</p> |
