PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread-reeling device of a sewing machine capable of coping with the desired texture of seams, sewing conditions, etc., expediently. SOLUTION: In the thread-reeling device 40 of a sewing machine 30 provided with a movable thread guide 42, an oscillating needle thread take up 43 provided on the side of an arm part 30c, having the first thread-reeling hole 44b and the second thread-reeling hole 44c allowing a thread to be inserted through and synchronizing with the vertical motion of a needlebar 34 to reciprocally oscillate about one end side so as to control the amount of the thread reeled out, and a needle-bar needle thread take up 46 fixed to the upper end part of the needle bar 34 and having the thread-reeling hole 46a allowing the thread to be inserted through to control the amount of the thread reeled out, a path R1 reaching a needle 3 from the movable thread guide 42 through the first thread-reeling hole 44b of the oscillating needle thread take up 43 and the needlebar needle thread take up 46 and a path R2 that is shorter than the path R1 and reaches the needle 3 from the movable thread guide 42 through the second thread-reeling hole 44c of the oscillating needle thread take up 43 can be selected.
