PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft ice cream freezer capable of preventing scattering of a soft ice cream mix to the outside, suppressing the occurrence of a tapping sound, improving environmental conditions and stably usable for a long period without a fear of damage, etc., to equipment in the soft ice cream freezer equipped with a mix tank for housing the soft ice cream mix, a mix tank cover, etc., as a lid for covering an opening of the mix tank. SOLUTION: This soft ice cream freezer is equipped with a flange formed on the peripheral edge of the opening of the mix tank and a gasket in a contact part of the flange with the mix tank cover to be the lid of the opening. Thereby, a gap can be minimized to form the contact part without requiring high- precision machining of the flange and the mix tank cover. Furthermore, the environment prevented from noise can be obtained by utilizing elasticity, etc., of the gasket and the occurrence of damage to a machine can be prevented.
