1,034,096. Photographic recording apparatus. C.L.ALLEN. May 6, 1963 [July 5,1962],No. 17885/63. Headings G2A and G2E. Apparatus for automatically making series of "still" pictures at predetermined timed intervals comprises a cine-type camera 40 whose disc-type shutter 48 is actuated at a speed proportional to the speed of rotation of socket member 50 driven through shaft 53 whose sprocket 55 is tripped by one of the studs 30 carried by a disc 25 rotated by electric motor 10 through reduction gear 11. Each tripping action corresponds to one exposure and film transport through one frame. Studs 30 have rotatable sleeves 32, and their number may be varied to determine the number of exposures per revolution of disc 25. Shutter speed may be varied by changing the diameter of the disc or its angular speed, in which latter case the number of studs is adjusted to maintain constant the rate of exposure. A time switch 18, is used to energize motor 10 for a fixed period at chosen intervals e.g. daily. |
