PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new polypeptide and a new polynucleotide capable of having a function different from that of a natural wild type IFNα-2 protein. SOLUTION: The new polynucleotide is derived from a nucleotide sequence of an IFNα-2 gene and contains new SNP. The new polypeptide is derived from a natural wild type IFNα-2 protein and contains a variation caused by the new SNP. The new polynucleotide and the new polypeptide are used for treating diseases such as cancer, tumor, infectious diseases, central nerve diseases, or the like. |
