PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spreading material and a baby carrier with it which gives safety and comfort according to a holding method for many ways of holding like holding sideways, carrying on the back and holding in one's arms. SOLUTION: The baby carrier with a spreading material comprises a carrier itself 10 to hold a baby body, a shoulder belt 30 to be installed on the carrier itself 10, a head support material 40 installed at the upper portion of the back portion 1 of the carrier itself 10 and having plate like rear head support portion 41, and a spreading material 60 which has a spreading material 51 and an installation material 62 to pass fixed portion of the baby carrier to the spreading material 51 and is easily installed at the carrier itself 10 by the installation material 62.
