PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a central blood pressure waveform estimating device, with which a blood pressure waveform in the center can be derived by using non-invasively detected peripheral pulse waveforms. SOLUTION: A central blood pressure waveform estimating device 10 is provided with a pulse wave detecting unit 60 for non-invasively detecting peripheral pulse waves, a transfer function storing unit 26 for storing a previously calculated transfer function based on peripheral pulse waves detected by the pulse wave detecting unit 60 or similarly formed detecting unit and invasively measured central blood pressure waveforms, and a central blood pressure waveform calculating unit 30 for calculating a central blood pressure waveform corresponding to a pulse waveform at a periphery newly detected by the pulse wave detecting unit 60 by using the pulse waveform and the transfer function. |
