PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for inducing and/or enhancing the expression of a mammalian antimicrobial peptide comprising an ingredient having actions of inducing and/or enhancing the expression of the antimicrobial peptide, a food and drink, a medicine and a quasi-drug comprising the composition by searching for the ingredient from a food. SOLUTION: The composition is obtained by adding an insoluble fraction derived from a yeast as an active ingredient for the composition for inducing and/or enhancing the expression of the mammalian antimicrobial peptide. The food and drink, medicine and quasi-drug are obtained by adding the composition thereto.
