PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the stability of an inverter control system by detecting the position of the magnetic pole of the rotor of a brushless DC motor, based on the difference between the first neutral point voltage and the second neutral point voltage, and driving the brushless motor with an inverter, and changing the output waveform of the inverter smoothly. SOLUTION: The first neutral point voltage is obtained by connecting, with one another, the other ends of resistors 14u, 14v, and 14w whose one end each is connected to the output terminal of each phase of an inverter 12. The second neutral point voltage is obtained by connecting, with one another, one end each of the stator windings 13u, 13v, and 13w of each phase of a brushless DC motor 13. Based on the difference between the first neutral point voltage and the second neutral point voltage, the brushless DC motor 13 is driven with an inverter 13. In this case, the inverter 12 is controlled to smoothly change the output waveform of the inverter, so the point of output waveform of the inverter 12 changing suddenly becomes zero, and the brushless DC motor 13 can be driven stably. |
