This invention aims at providing a welded joint permitting welding with a bead of a small width, and a welding method. A welded joint having a tubular end to be welded, characterized in that a bevel is provided on an inner surface of the tubular end. This bevel has an angle of 60 DEG -75 DEG measured from axis, and a depth measured from the tubular end is preferably set to 0.15-0.25 mm. A method of welding a welded joint having a tubular portion, characterized by the steps of forming bevels on inner surfaces of tubular end portions of two welded joints, and then butting the joints to be welded against each other and welding them along the outer circumferences thereof. The bevels have an angle of 60 DEG -75 DEG measured from the axes, and a depth measured from the tubular ends is preferably set to 0.15-0.25 mm. |
