PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger capable of hanging even long washing in an easily drying state without hanging them one upon another from a drying tool provided in a low position. SOLUTION: The hanger has hook portions 14 that can be hooked onto a rod 12 such as a pole for drying washing from above and hanging and pinching portions 16 pinching a thing to be hung. The hook portions 14 and the hanging and pinching portions 16 are connected by arm portions 18 extended toward both sides of the hook portions 14 with the rod 12 interposed in-between. The arm portions 18 are connected in a position lower than the hook portions 14 and the hanging and pinching portions 16. The hook portion 14 has an urging means 22 urging the rod 12 in the direction of pinching. The hanging and pinching portion 16 has gripping portions 24a and 26a facing and pressing each other, and grasping portion opening means 36 increasing the clearance between the grasping portions 24a and 26a are provided.
